We also offer residential training for those that have a busy diary and don't have the time to train their own dogs. We can adopt our training to suit you. On completion of the training, the owners will be trained how to handle their dogs to keep them at the level of training they have now gained. Residential training is for a minimum of 8 weeks.
Puppy and Novice.
There is no set time to start training your puppy; in fact from the time you bring it home it is advisable to instil best practice. We can help you get your puppy off to a positive and rewarding start. Providing information from feeding and housing through to do’s and dont's, equipment, early retrieving and hunting stimulation. We can advise you what behaviour to expect from your puppy as it matures, helping you to form a strong bond at an early age. When your develops we can move on to more advanced lessons at novice level.
Lessons for puppies and novice are for up to an hour at £30 a session for members, and £35 a lesson for non members. Or book a block of 6 lessons for £180. Blocks must be taken within a 6 month period, and are not refundable. We require 3 days notice to change one to one appointments.
Following on from the basics:
We can assist you with more advanced training to gradually introduce your dog to different environments and working practice.
Teaching your dog to remain focused and steady when working with distractions, through to the introduction of shot and cold game.
This may be completed on a one to one basis and also in group sessions.
